Cameras and the People Behind Them

Ben filming John GrayThis weekend, several of the CCM interns were given cameras and sent out on the Izod center. They were asked to film the bands performing, the speakers, and to interview some of the attendees.

While they interview, a producer asks the teens what they love about BattleCry, and how God changed their life in each session. Our very own Ben was able to film the speaker John Gray on stage. All of this footage is for a piece highlighting the weekend showing what God did.

Video World

This year at the NYC BattleCry, CCM is off to a great start. Behind the stage, is a set of computers making sure everything on the screens plays on cue. This place is called Video World.
Our peeps in Video World, kicked off the event with an opening video made by some of our very own graphic artists. The graphic artist spent weeks planning what the video should look like, and thanks to a software program run through Video World, the images move to the beat of the live music. The audience was going wild and loved every second of it, thanks to our CCMer’s working hard before the event, and in video world.

Taking A Bite Out Of The Big Apple

There is a rhythm here in the Greater NY area. It’s a combination of businessman calling out for a cab, steam rising up from the drains, the rumble of the subway underneath thousands of hurried feet, and the saxophone proclaiming its soulful tune in the echoing halls of the railway system. And as the rhythm carries out, it begins to match another steady beat.

Thump-thump. Thump-thump. Thump-thump.

For months, hundreds of hearts have been preparing to meet up with the rhythm of the Big Apple. At CCM, we have known that this was not just any other city, and in order to sync up with its beat, in order to break through to the hearts of its people, we had to come to understand the broad individualism of this great city. Now, we have not been able to learn the 30+ languages spoken here in just a matter of months, but we have done the research and put great thought into creating material that would feel like home to them.

The music is different. The vibe is different. This city is different.

And man, am I ready to take a bite of the sweet Big Apple. How do I know it’s gonna be sweet? Because God has been preparing CCM for this event for quite some time now. He has given us wisdom as to where we needed to spend our time in preparing this event. He has given our GFX team the strength to finish a good amount of material. He has blessed our NY BattleCry Development Team with the creativity and ideas to produce material, that we would have not been divinely inspired to do so, otherwise.

After all, we are pretty talented, but with God, we are unstoppable! I look back at the hard work that was put into creating the media for NY BattleCry, and I am humbled and amazed at how God used us. He stretched us to a limit that we would have not been capable of, without Him.

So, with only 4 hours before the event starts, I can say with great confidence, that this year’s NY BattleCry is going to be like none other. God is gonna bring down the house, and radically move in the attendee’s hearts!
